    Mala Wharf

Mala Wharf was awesome! 2 Octopi, multiple sharks, multiple turtles and a really cool and pretty big frog fish that blended right in with the coral. Great dive.

    Delwin's Delight

104: Delwin's Delight. This site was decent, but not as good as Babylon. Saw some cool nudibranchs and some scenic coral. I was able to get a nice hour-long dive on this one, even going down to 60 feet. 7/26/12 10:30 Depth: 62 Time: 60 Weight: 8 lbs (good) Wetsuit: swim shirt/skin Visibility: ~60' Water Temp: 86 Air Temp: 90 Conditions: Rolling Waves Weather: Mostly Sunny. Overall, the diving in Grand Cayman was A+ and the dive operator, Ocean Frontiers was excellent as well. We loved the full service aspect of it where they did nearly everything. Here's the people I remember: Matt - great, from LA, cute girlfriend Tilly - dive master/boat driver, seemed fairly senior and he was British and also great Heather - blonde woman, good guide, named Heather's Hallway while we were with her. Brittany - another blonde, good guide Colin - young guy, from New England, been on Cayman 7 months, did the stingray tour for us. Very nice. Said he got his dive master cert with OF last year and they offered him a job after that. Elly - photographer, really nice. Only one guy, I think it was Giles, we didn't care for, and can't remember his name, but he was British or Australian, and made a couple jokes about killing/dying before the Kittiwake Dive. He was odd.

    Cathedrals 2

Second cathedral was amazing as usual. Our sitter did not show, so Jill stayed home. Inside the cathedral was amazing & the chandelier was beautiful. Saw an octopus swimming around twice, which was cool. As we got on the boat, they told us a pod of dolphins was approaching us, so we put our snorkel gear on & they swam alongside us, about 30 ft. away. 2 tiny baby dolphins in the pod. Awesome! The boat then chased them & the dolphin played in the bow wake. Very cool!

    Kahekili Beach (Old Airport)

12lbs was good. Scooter shore dive from Kaanapali Airport Beach with Dan. Scooters were pretty cool once I got the hang of it. Put it between your legs and I used my hands in front of my like a rudder at first. Had to be careful not to hit reef or go up or down too fast. Towards the end I was able to steer better with my fins. Scootered out to small mermaid statue. Then dropped scooters in the sand and checked it out. Carried scooters a short way to a small rock reef where there were 2 decent-sized eels. Then just scootered around to various reefs. Shore exit was pretty rough so we had to bail on the 2nd dive.
