Trapstar The Icon of London Streetwear
by Simuel on December 30, 2025
Trapstar is more than a clothing brand. https://trapstar-italy.net/clothes/
It is a movement.
Born in London, it represents ambition, hustle, and street identity.
The brand connects with people who dream big.
Trapstar is bold.
It is fearless.
It is authentic.
The Origin of Trapstar
Trapstar was founded in West London in the early 2000s.
It began with friends designing and selling T-shirts locally.
There were no stores, no advertising—only creativity and word of mouth.
The name “Trapstar” carries meaning.
“Trap” represents struggle and the grind.
“Star” represents dreams and success.
Together, it symbolizes rising above challenges.

Kickstarter projects to watch
by Ksso on June 08, 2011
Kickstarter is a platform to raise money for your project. Actually it's not really technicaly about raising money but rather about pre-selling the idea and getting enough cash to finance its execution. Kickstarter has helped finance and launch many amazing projects, sometimes geeky, sometimes arty... but today I wanted to showcase two projects related to things that matter to scuba divers.Living Sea Sculpture: contemporary art as coral refuge
Protei, Open Hardware Oil Spill Cleaning Sailing Robot
Both projects have been successfully founded, and we'll watch closely as they progress ! Hopefully we'll find more of such initiatives on Kickstarter.
Coral Gardening in Fiji

Check out how marine biologists work with fishermen to regrow corals and restore reefs in the Pacific. It takes as much as 2 years for the coral to get to the stage where it can be harvested and re-planted on the reefs, this is what it takes to restore the habitat of the fishes and have them come back.Source Arthur Kerns via Chuck Jones

Corals are colonies of tiny living animals found in marine waters that contain few nutrients. Most coral reefs are built from stony corals, and are formed by polyps that live together in groups. The polyps secrete a hard carbonate exoskeleton which provides support and protection for the body of each polyp. Reefs grow best in warm, shallow, clear, sunny and agitated waters. Also, a coral reef is a reef consisting of coral consolidated into limestone. ...
